Public Domain ‘Amsterdam’ The Remixes Coming Soon On Ascension Music
The hard edged Amsterdam gets the trance and techno remix treatment.
The annual pilgrimage in dance music is just around the corner. The 2017 ADE Amsterdam Dance Event starts October 18th and here at Ascension® Music, we are excited to offer our dedication to the ADE.
Inspired by visits to the beautiful Dutch capital, Public Domain’s Amsterdam is a no nonsense dance floor banger with an incredibly slick vocal line performed by the act’s very own MC Cyclone. Fresh from their feature in October’s Mixmag, the hard tech driven export Amsterdam from Public Domain has been given the remix treatment ahead of the dance conference.
Giving Amsterdam an underground techno vibe follwing his debut Technical Details, Ayrshire’s very own Sidious J has produced a 124 bpm monster of a remix fusing a growling bassline, heavy percussion and a mangled vocal hook from MC Cycle. Expect to hear this from some of the techno and house stages at the event.
On a more euphoric vibe, DJ producer duo Metta & Gylde (behind the euphoric All Or Nothing) have added their spin on the Public Domain anthem with a solid full on peak time smasher, mixing vocal elements from the original with their driving basslines, stunning acid synths and an epic riff that is best described as stratospheric.
Director of Ascension® Music Charlotte Mills McCabe is excited with the release. “Amsterdam is a fantastic record, getting praise from Mixmag and DJs including Ian Standerwick. The remixes are equally as stunning, taking the track to new dance floors and beyond.”
